The co-creator of Call of Duty, renowned for co-creating the globally famous franchise Call of Duty, has died in a car accident in Los Angeles, California at the age of 55.

His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.

The celebrated industry figure died after his car crashed and burst into flames on a highway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, as reported by.

"This is a heartbreaking loss, and our hearts are with Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and all those touched by his work," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts commented.
