"An Emerging Competitor Has Arrived."
Within the extremely competitive world of video games, it's typical for new contenders to disappear as swiftly as they burst on to the scene.
But the latest Battlefield is striving to change that.
It's the most recent addition in a long-running warfare game series commonly described as a grittier answer to its main competitor.
The title has never quite succeeded to match its most famous opponent in regards of sales or user base, but indicators suggest the recent entry could reduce the distance.
A trial session giving users a opportunity to try out the release earlier this year set new benchmarks, and the buzz leading up to its debut has been huge.
But the project is nevertheless a major gamble for company Electronic Arts, which has reportedly allocated vast amounts of money developing it.

"Collaborating with diverse perspectives, varied experiences, it's a very engaging environment to be involved in every day," he shares.
"The complete approach has been an innovation but something truly inspiring because we are collaborating with individuals from all over the world."
Concerning the anticipation on the team, the director states: "We experience stress but also it's motivating.
"This is a large project. It's probably the biggest that many of us have previously been involved in."
