The NRL's administration has stated that participants who join the “counterfeit” R360 league will be banned for 10 seasons.
R360, set to start in October 2026, is hoping to draw rugby union and rugby league players with substantial agreements and a condensed game calendar.
Leading National Rugby League stars have reportedly received offers by the breakaway group, which will include six to eight men's teams and four women's teams located in major cities globally.
The Samoan the player, who is with the Warriors in the league, has confirmed he has had negotiations involving the new organization.
Ryan Papenhuyzen, Lomax, Payne Haas and Jye Gray are also believed to be thinking about signing the new competition.
Several leading rugby union nations, among them Australia, earlier imposed a ban on athletes signing with R360 appearing in global fixtures.
“We heard our franchises and we've acted decisively,” said Australian Rugby League Commission chief the official.
“Regrettably, there will persistently exist organizations that attempt to hijack our code for potential financial gain.
“They avoid funding in talent pipelines or the advancement of players. They simply exploit the efforts of other organizations, jeopardizing careers of monetary damage while profiting themselves.
“In truth, they represent, imitating the sport.”
The league is established by former England World Cup winner Tindall and backed by private investors.
Subsequent to the prospective rugby union sanctions were declared recently, it stated: “We aim to collaborate collaboratively as integrated into the worldwide fixture list.
“The competition is arranged with customized calendars for male and female sides and R360 will permit participants for international matches, as specified in their deals.”
R360 will apply for endorsement for its proposals from the international authority, union's governing body, at its council meeting next year.
