English pace bowler Mark Wood has been cleared from any concerns over his hamstring injury after medical scans conducted in Perth.

The Durham bowler gave England an injury scare on the first day of England's Ashes warm-up game versus England Lions after he left the field suffering discomfort in his hamstring.

It was the identical leg on which the 35-year-old underwent surgery after sustaining a knee injury earlier this year.

In his first action since the surgery, Wood bowled two four-over spells before leaving the field on Thursday.
